Through my work, I am motivated by a fascination with clay and with nature. I am especially inspired by the nature found in my garden. For me, there is something about carving/drawing into leather hard clay that is so satisfying. I aim to produce ceramics that are interesting, accessible, affordable and encourage people to look afresh at the natural world around them. -Kate Keilty

How to Price Your Art

There is an interesting article on pricing art on ArtBusiness.com. I know that not everyone has the goal of selling their work, but many do. I thought using real estate as an analogy was an interesting comparison.

Speaking of selling, don't forget that tonight is Roger Cantu's opening reception for his show "Glass and Clay" beginning at 5:00 p.m. Roger has lots of fused glass pieces which is exciting to see in the Gallery.
